it's only a phone call

the problem with kissing someone you kinda like is you expect them to call. well, you want them to call.

and inevitably they never do. i've had so many experiences in london where you meet someone, and regardless of whether you end up in bed with them or not, most do not ask for your number. it just doesn't get to that stage. everyone is so fast paced that you move on to the next thing. or in several scenarios i've experienced recently, you move BACK to the previous person, thereby in reality you yourself are a distraction, a transient pair of lips.

so here i am, trying not to get savannah involved as the middlegirl in my shenanigans, yet wanting this guy to call.

it gets to me sometimes.

or course, if you liked them enough, you'd bite the bullet, swallow your pride, and call yourself. but most of the time you're not willing to. because you're still not willing to put yourself out there in case you get rejected. and maybe that's what it is. when you meet someone you like enough - someone you connect with, whom you're really attracted to, you're ready to give up all this bullshit and game playing and go for it.

until then, there's always the waiting game.
