it's not a competition... is it?

there's two pieces of advice i've received from two very different friends which i hold dear in the game of love. the first is never share all of yourself. always keep something true to you and you alone. the second is make sure they like you more than you like them.

and whilst both sound incredibly insecure and slightly manipulative, i believe there's a great deal of truth in 'em. always keep a bit of mystery - it's how they became intrigued by you in the first place.
