is it seeing each other everyday? calling everyday? having sleepovers more than 50% of the week?

at a picnic celebrating the one who previously got away's birthday last week, a friend asked if chemistry boy is now my boyfriend. i said i'm not sure - a reply which according to my friends suggests a very strong no.

as the eternal single gal, and the last single gal of the gang, my love life holds great interest to them. it's not a living vicariously thing. it's more like tabloid fodder. after all, in the past four years i have been independently and officially single, the only one without a partner.

the status of chemistry boy and i have been a source of speculation for all of my friends. i guess most of them want to see me settled, though there is always that element of fun considering the status of your friend's relationships, and an element of vicarious living for those who have been blissfully united in coupledom for the past few months.
